Biography:                   The 20-year-old business administration student from Laramie, Wyoming was first introduced to pageantry in Texas. Since then she has moved on to compete in California and Wyoming.

A junior at the University of Wyoming, Kaitlyn says her dream job is to have her own show on the Food Network. From a young age, Kaitlyn has had a strong interest in cooking. She catered her first event at the age of 13 to earn sponsorship for a pageant.

Kaitlyn is also dedicated to ending childhood hunger in America. She has worked extensively with Share Our Strength, and looks forward to devoting her time to the numerous charitable organizations the Miss Universe Organization works with.

Biography:                   Brittany Nicole Poteet, "Nikki", is a 23 year old student at Virginia Commonwealth University completing her Masters in Nuclear Engineering. Nikki will earn her Graduate Degree next month and looks forward to working in her chosen field as well as promoting the importance of science and mathematics to high school students. "I would like to combine my areas of education to begin researching natural forms of cancer treatment, such as dietary changes and the use of fruit seeds containing the enzyme Amygdalin."

Biography:                    Upon graduating from high school in 2008, Ashley began studying journalism and public relations at the University of Memphis on an honors scholarship. Since her move to Memphis she has been actively involved in her university as well as the community. She has held the offices of Alumnae Relations, Operations and Recruitment for Alpha Gamma Delta. In spring 2010, her sorority teamed up with 2 other greek organizations in the annual Greek Sing to raise money for Special Olympics in Memphis, TN. As the chair, she lead the group to first place in the overall competition as well as winning Best Costumes, Best Solo, Best Props while raising the most money for the cause. Through Alpha Gam Ashley has made sugar free cookie mix to hand out to diabetics at the annual JDRF Walk in Memphis. Ashley has also enjoyed raising money for St. Jude through Up TilÕ Dawn on campus. She is also a proud member of the most spirited Tiger fans on campus, Blue Crew.

After losing her grandmother to breast cancer, she found a certain peace and sense of accomplishment by being involved with the Susan G. Komen FoundationÕs "Race for a Cure". She also volunteers with the Ronald McDonald House, Grizzlies House, Darryl Worley Foundation and Fest for Friends for individuals battling HIV and Aids.

Ashley participated in the Pat Kerr 30th Anniversary Fashion Show & Retrospective that benefitted several West Tennessee charities ~ Area Relief Ministries, Darryl Worley Cancer Treatment Center, Jackson Center for Independent Living, Memphis Charitable Foundation and Regional Inter-Faith Association. She has also traveled to schools across the state encouraging students to live a healthy life and fulfill their dreams.

During the summer of 2009 Ashley had the life-changing opportunity to study fashion journalism and photography in Paris, France through AIU. She was also able to visit many parts of France as well as London and Berlin during her stay. Through living under the confines of foreign culture she gained the sense of having a greater perspective of the world around her, to appreciate societal differences such as cuisine, language, social customs, and economics

Biography:                    Chandra is currently a graduate student studying Chiropractics at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota. She previously graduated with a degree in dietetics and nutrition from South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota, and grew up in Highmore, South Dakota, a little town of 800 in the center of the state.

When Chandra isn't hitting the books, she is an avid Green Bay Packers fan and even has a "cheesehead.Ó She also follows the Twins and was so excited to go to her first pro football game this year when the Minnesota Vikings played her beloved Packers. She enjoys traveling, snowboarding, volleyball, spending time with her friends, dancing and doing choreography, singing a little karaoke, and being on-stage and entertaining in general.

Chandra has a special place in her heart for the Relay for Life and has given of her time and talents to give back to the organization. It began when her aunt was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and through God's will and the doctor's foresight, ChandraÕs aunt has been cancer free for 10 years now. She has also participated in ChildrenÕs Miracle Network Fundraiser, and as Miss South Dakota USA she will have the opportunity to assist with the Special Olympics in the spring.

As a Chiropractor, Chandra wants to specialize in sports injuries and women and children." I have always enjoyed being involved with children and their well-being." This was evident in her youth, as she started her own dance company at the age of 15 to give school children a positive place to go after school and help them realize their potential. They performed during half-time of sporting events and gave a dance recital to help boost confidence. Chandra is hoping that her dietetics and nutrition degree will be put to good use due to the ever increasing child obesity issues our nation is facing today.

She has worked for the past 3 years with the Golden Harvest Food Bank, conducts motivational speaking sessions to schools, and does Self-improvement consulting.

Her goal is to be a provisional sponsor for organizations that help stop the sex slavery industry, human trafficking. She has been working with History Starts Now in promoting the cause by creating awareness and raising funds.Courtney was awarded with the Coin of Excellence from Fort GordonÕs military base for outstanding volunteerism and communications. She also received the Leadership award from the Governor of SC.

Her hobbies include sky diving, tennis, painting, and hiking. She is a member of the Central Carolina Realtors Association, the South Carolina Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. Courtney is also a member of the Entrepreneur Club, Alpha Delta Pi, and the Mountaineering Whitewater Rafting Club.
