Biography:                    Jaymie was born and raised in Lenexa, Kansas by parents Stan and Donna Stokes. She has two older sisters, Erika and Shawna, who are very proud to support Jaymie with her current and previous titles. When Jaymie was 15 years-old she won the title as Miss Kansas Teen USA 2007 and placed in the top ten at the Miss Teen USA 2007 pageant in Pasadena, California. Now, the 19-year-old is a sophomore at the University of Kansas majoring elementary education with an endorsement in special education but she is also looking into a career in broadcast journalism. Jaymie is a proud member of the Sigma chapter of Gamma Phi Beta and is involved in many philanthropic events. She is a part of the Natural Ties club in the Greek community that works with adults with special needs, which is something Jaymie is very passionate about.

When Jaymie is not busy with school she loves spending time with her friends, family, and her dogs. She enjoys fishing, sewing, running, and traveling. Jaymie also enjoys giving back to her community. Volunteering is something that Jaymie finds very important and she hopes to promote that during her year as Miss Kansas USA 2011.
