Biography:    Page Pennock, a 20-year-old native of Louisiana, obtaining a double major in Mass Communication and Business, is the daughter of Mark and Toni Guastella of Shreveport, LA. A 2008 graduate of C.E. Byrd Magnet High School, Page enrolled at Louisiana State University immediately after graduation where she was given a full four-year academic scholarship and began her life in Baton Rouge, LA. Page aspires to one day become a Sportscaster for a major network.

Being involved in sports has always been a large part of PageÕs life. She was a competitive gymnast and has played competitive soccer since age 10. While in high school Page was named to the First Team All-District and First Team All-City Soccer Teams her junior and senior years, in addition to being selected to the State of Louisiana Soccer Team which allowed her to travel the country. She was offered several Division 1 soccer scholarships but chose to forego those to pursue her dream of becoming Miss Louisiana USA.

On October 30, her dream came true as she was crowned Miss Louisiana USA 2011. Philanthropy and volunteerism are important components in Page's life and she is actively using her title to work with those charities that are especially close to her heart. Having a strong family history of breast cancer, the fear and anxiety of the outcome of her own breast biopsy at a young age led to her involvement with some of her favorite causes and charities: Breast Cancer Awareness, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, and "Suds for the Cure" which her family created in honor of her aunt, a survivor of breast cancer. Page is a firm believer in the philosophy, "Knowledge=Power" and encourages women and men of all ages to be proactive when it comes to health awareness; knowing can save your life! Page is also an advocate for the Special Olympics and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. As an active member of the LSU Campus, Page is a member of the Epsilon Chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority which has connected her to other avenues of civic service and leadership spanning organizations such as Prevent Child Abuse America and Girl Scouts of America.

Page recently appeared in the Lifetime movie "Queen Sized" and the motion picture "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell". She models locally and recently appeared on the runway in Dallas as a model for Precious Formals. She enjoys runway and print modeling and works out avidly, recently becoming interested in Zumba and Yoga. Page loves traveling, reading, shopping for shoes and more than anything sports, specifically, the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints.
